STEAM
At Academy of Excellence Preschool, the STEAM program is an integrated part of our accredited curriculum. We believe that STEAM activities encourage and challenge our student’s natural sense of curiosity, exploration, research, and discovery while supporting inquiry into new innovative problem-solving skills.
Science requires preschoolers to ask and answer questions, encouraging curiosity investigation and promoting problem-solving skills.
Technology allows our preschoolers to apply the scientific knowledge they gained during classroom investigation using age-appropriate technology such as scales, rulers, microscopes, computers, and much more.
Engineering provides a platform for exploration and problem-solving skills. Our students will be testing structures and designs and investigating possible solutions while engaging in real-world applications.
Art inspires creativity and encourages process development. At Academy of Excellence Preschool, art activities are entwined throughout all subject areas, allowing to illustrate concepts that the students are learning about.
Mathematics isn’t limited to just number counting and recognition. It also includes the ability to see and create patterns shapes and master organizational skills like graphing and sorting.
