Community Outreach

We need to teach our preschoolers that they are part of a larger community and that everyone is responsible for those around them. By giving the value of charity an essential role at our preschool, we encourage our students to grow up with a healthy sense of compassion and gratitude.
Projects and events Academy of Excellence Preschool is involved in consist of:

Food Drive
We are always collecting non-perishable food items to be donated to the New Jersey Food Bank and the local children’s and women’s shelter.

Salvation Army Angel Tree
Through Angel Tree Program, gifts are provided to children in need who would otherwise be left out on Christmas. We are proud to say that the Academy of Excellence preschool and our parent community have dedicated support for the program for many years.

Campus Garden
As a way to advocate awareness for one’s community, the Academy of Excellence Preschool encourages every student to choose, plant, and be responsible for their choice of herb, flower, or vegetable.
